Maybe you noticed
My new vacation ticker over there-----> we were planning on going on vacation next year, but after reading Dave Ramseys "total money makeover" we have decided to go in 2012 (assuming the world hasnt ended, maybe it will end while we are laying in the sun on the deck of a huge ship... one can dream) So thats what thats all about, in case you were wondering.
Nothing too exciting has been going on around here, just Snow Whites soccer, Grumpy sprained finger, and got sick over the weekend. I spent yesterday making our living room (#2) look pretty so we spent the evening enjoying a room that we hadn't sat in for about 3 months, (because it was so hot, not because it was dirty lol) I love it.

I have a question for you, feel free to answer via email (or not at all) if you don't want to deal with any negative feedback (don't know how large your audience is etc). Anyway, I was wondering how you reconcile the whole "Dave Ramsey"/conservative/Christian thing with real life? I have made an assumption that the conservative mind set will be apparent in his teachings since so many of the blogs that discuss his programs/methods are ultra conservative, which is fine (I guess) if that is what a person believes but I don't really feel like having that stuff crammed down my throat. Is it worth trying to ignore the belief system and concentrate on the financial stuff? Am I making any sense?
Not meaning to hijack your vacation news post! Very exciting news, where are you planning to visit? My husband's family is in upstate New York so all of our vacations take us to see the nieces and nephews, siblings, and parents. Seems like we're barely unpacked each summer before we starting thinking about NEXT year! Hoping your 2 years fly by and have fun with your planning! :)
