So we just got our house insulated for FREE!!
they are going to send in the rebate, it will come here to our house and we will send it back to the company how great is that! Great! I hope this will help keep our energy bill down thru out the winter, since its already getting cold.

We went threw a company called PeachTree insulation, just call them, they will ask you a few questions, and if you qualify they will send the guys out, its totally free I swear! even after they get there if you dont need any more they wont charge you. it took them about 10 minutes and now we are insulated for the winter, they had to add 8 inches!!
there # is (801) 725-7751 they are in syracuse but they come out here too, FREE!

I heard a news story about this not too long ago... the insulation companies are actually not supposed to do that anymore. If I'm correct, the rebate is for more than what the insulation companies were originally charging, so it would be free to you regardless... apparently the the insulation companies got clever and decided to advertise it as being free... but is what they did is jack their price up to what your rebate is (but in real life they don't really charge that much) then they have you send them your rebate and they MAKE MORE money off of the deal.

Now it's going to drive me crazy until I find that article... I'll see if I can find it and send it over to you. Because you may just be putting more money into the insulation companies pocket instead of yours.

Stephanie, I read that story too, but that was back in March when the rebate was .70 per square foot (I think) now it is only .35 so there isnt really anyway that the companies are making that much more then the work that they did.
